Junior Room Scarecrow

Carrying the scarecrow to the garden
Making the scarecrow

Last week the Junior room decided to make a new scarecrow for the garden. We had a book “Making Scarecrows.” Mrs A helped us to follow the instructions. We used hay, old stockings, clothes gardening gloves and old shoes. Madaline drew the face on the sack.(the hay was making her sneeze). We put the new scarecrow out by the new gardens but thought she looked lonely. We took the old scarecrow over to keep her company.
Birds would be very brave to eat our garden!

Hi This is Aunty Andrea from the North Island. I hope that Kathleen did'nt call the scarecrow "Aunty Andrea"!. I hope that you all see Joshua and Kathleen's photos that I took of them on holiday up here with us. Please ask Joshua how high he flew over the water in the "tube" and how soapy Kathleen got on the water slide. Cheers big ears. Love your blog Aunty Andrea
